The Nossa Senhora do Monte Sports Center already has a table for basketball practice
Since last Saturday, October 28, 2023, the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Monte has had a completely new pair of basketball boards for the practice and promotion of this sport in the town of Nossa Senhora do Monte and its surroundings.
The event was presided over by Mr. Sports Councilor of Brava City Council, Mário Soares , who also delivered balls and witnessed a friendly game between athletes from Nova Sintra and Nossa Senhora do Monte . The Brava City Council, through the Sports Department, highlighted the importance and need for the creation of teams and a strong engagement of civil society in the creation of the Brava Regional Basketball Association, with a view to holding regional championships and being better prepared for also participate in National Basketball Competitions.
This material will be available to group II of Nossa Sra. do Monte so that students can, from now on, take practical basketball classes and develop a taste for the sport, working alongside Physical Education teachers and recently trained monitors. , in a partnership between Brava City Council and IDJ, as well as all lovers of this sport and young people in general.
